Scope and Roles

This Privacy Policy applies to information processed by Company when you access the publicYield.ly website and related services. It does not apply to third-party websites, protocols, exchanges, or services linked from the Service, which are governed by their own policies.

Where Company processes personal information on behalf of a commercial partner under a separate written agreement, that agreement governs processing to the extent of any conflict with this policy.

Information We Collect

Information you provide. If you subscribe to a newsletter, submit a data issue report, contact us, or otherwise communicate with Company, we collect the information you choose to provide, such as your email address, message content, and any attachments or metadata you submit. Newsletter subscriptions require explicit consent and are handled separately from market view state.

Automatically collected information. When you use the Service, we and our service providers may automatically collect certain technical and usage information, including:

  • Device type, browser type, operating system, screen size, and language settings;
  • Referring and exit pages, approximate geography derived from IP address, and timestamps;
  • Pages viewed, features used, filters applied at an aggregate level, and interaction events;
  • Session identifiers necessary for attribution, redirect protection, abuse prevention, and analytics;
  • Server logs, error reports, and diagnostic metadata.

What we do not collect by default. We do not collect wallet addresses, transaction hashes, private keys, seed phrases, or raw search queries in product analytics by default. We do not request custody of digital assets.

Cookies, Analytics, and Similar Technologies

We use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to operate the Service, remember session state, measure aggregate usage, and protect outbound redirect flows. These may include:

  • Essential technologies required for basic functionality, including session continuity and redirect verification;
  • Analytics technologies that help us understand aggregate product usage through our analytics provider, DataFast;
  • Attribution technologies, such as first-party session identifiers, used to support sponsor reporting and partner data-sharing disclosures where applicable.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling certain technologies may affect Service functionality. Where required by law, we will provide additional consent mechanisms.

AI Crawler and Bot Traffic

The Service publishes discovery files and documentation intended for search engines and AI systems. When automated crawlers access the Service, we may record crawler user agent, requested URL, approximate source IP, and response metadata through server-side bot traffic tracking integrated with our analytics stack.

Bot traffic tracking is separate from human pageview analytics and is used to understand crawler activity, protect infrastructure, and improve discoverability. We do not use bot traffic data to personalize financial content or create individual user profiles from crawler requests.

How We Use Information

We use collected information to:

  • Provide, maintain, secure, and improve the Service;
  • Publish validated dashboard market data and related research pages;
  • Measure aggregate usage, diagnose errors, and prevent abuse;
  • Deliver sponsor inventory reporting and honor commercial disclosure obligations;
  • Verify outbound destinations and enforce approved-host policies;
  • Respond to inquiries, data issue reports, and legal requests;
  • Send newsletters or product updates where you have opted in;
  • Comply with applicable law and enforce our Terms of Service.

Legal Bases for Processing

Where applicable privacy law requires a legal basis, we process personal information based on: (a) performance of a contract or steps taken at your request; (b) legitimate interests in operating, securing, and improving the Service, subject to your rights; (c) compliance with legal obligations; and (d) consent where required, such as for certain marketing communications.

How We Disclose Information

We may disclose information:

  • To service providers that process data on our behalf under contractual confidentiality, security, and data processing obligations, including hosting, analytics, email delivery, infrastructure, and security vendors;
  • To commercial partners where necessary to support labeled affiliate, exchange, or sponsored placements and related reporting, subject to our published commercial independence rules;
  • In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, subject to customary confidentiality restrictions;
  • To comply with law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Company, users, or the public;
  • With your consent or at your direction.

We do not sell personal information as that term is commonly defined under U.S. state privacy laws. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Service Providers and Subprocessors

We rely on third-party providers for hosting, analytics, email, infrastructure, and related services. These providers may process information only as instructed by Company and subject to appropriate contractual safeguards. A current list of categories of service providers is available upon request at hi@yield.ly.

Data Retention

We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and maintain security logs. Retention periods vary based on data type and operational need. Aggregated or de-identified data may be retained longer for analytics and product improvement.

Security

We implement administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

You use the Service at your own risk with respect to information security. Company does not guarantee that unauthorized third parties will never defeat our safeguards.

International Transfers

The Service is operated from the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, you understand that information may be processed and stored in the United States and other jurisdictions where we or our service providers operate, which may have different data protection laws than your home jurisdiction.

Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain processing of your personal information, or to opt out of certain analytics or marketing communications. To exercise applicable rights, contact us at hi@yield.ly. We may need to verify your request before responding and may deny requests where permitted by law.

California residents may have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended, including the right to know, delete, correct, and opt out of certain processing. We do not sell personal information and do not use sensitive personal information for purposes requiring opt-out rights under applicable California regulations, except as permitted by law for essential Service operations.

Residents of other U.S. states with comprehensive privacy laws may have similar rights. We will honor applicable requests in accordance with law.

Children

The Service is not directed to individuals under eighteen (18) years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page indicates when changes become effective. Material changes will be posted on the Service. Your continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised policy where permitted by law.
