WATCH means there is a positive or uncertain edge that does not clear the MOVE bar. Common reasons: net dollars after estimated costs are thin, alternative Yield Durability is below 40, history coverage is weak, or the alternative APY looks unusually high versus its own history.
Earnings use simple pro-rata APY over your horizon (no compounding in v1). Gross Alpha is alternative earnings minus current earnings. Net Yield Alpha subtracts labeled switching-cost estimates (exit, entry, gas, transfer time, early-exit penalty). Decisions are MOVE, STAY, or WATCH from dollar thresholds plus durability checks.
No. Every switching-cost line is a labeled estimate unless you override it with protocol terms you verified yourself. Gas tables are chain-family defaults. Time cost is forgone yield during an assumed transfer window. Always confirm fees on the protocol before moving funds.
No. Yields are variable and never guaranteed. Yield.ly and Yield Alpha are research tools, not financial advice. Qualification and ranking can change as rates, TVL, freshness, and risk evidence change.
Yield Durability is a 0 to 100 score built from live dashboard rate fields: stability, durability labels, history coverage, deviation versus 7d/30d medians, and penalties for decay or outlier states. Insufficient history caps the score and often forces WATCH even when the dollar edge looks attractive.
Yield Alpha alternatives come from the same live dashboard market data as Discover. Each opportunity carries a freshness state and observed timestamp. Stale or unavailable rates are not treated as investable Alpha inputs. Check the page freshness stamp and opportunity-level freshness before acting.
Use Copy share link on Yield Alpha. The URL encodes principal, current APY, horizon, optional alternative id, and an optional net Alpha hint for the social title. Wallet addresses are never included.
No. Sponsored slots on Yield Alpha are display-only inventory. They never boost MOVE/STAY/WATCH rankings or reorder alternatives by net Alpha.
Pages like /yield-alpha/from/usdc show live MOVE alternatives for an asset when enough qualified opportunities exist. Thin combinations stay noindex. They use a labeled median baseline APY so you can see the market edge before running your own numbers.
